Rasha Thadani on mother Raveena Tandon’s advice
When asked if Raveena Tandon gave any advice to Rasha Thadani, she said, “Mom was always very clear—she always said to be humble. But it’s very easy, especially when you’re on set, to want to share your own opinions about the character or how you think a scene should play out. After all, you’re the one in the scene, so sometimes you feel like, ‘Oh, maybe I can do it like this,’ or ‘What if I try this?’ But she was adamant—she said, ‘Absolutely not. It’s your first movie, and you know nothing. You go there, you listen to Gattu Sir and Pragya Ma’am, and you do exactly as they say. No opinions allowed.’ That was her clear instruction.”
Rasha Thadani on carrying forward Raveena’s legacy
Talking about carrying forward Raveena’s legacy, Rasha Thadani said, “Yeah, for sure. I mean, we’ve been born into this legacy, but I think trying to suppress it or deny it won’t help. And, I appreciate my legacy, and I hope I can do justice to it. I hope to work hard and let my work show that I’m at least trying to achieve even a little bit of what they did. It’s a duty, you know. When you’re given an opportunity like this, what you do with it becomes so important.”
